V is for vodka.

In high school I was strictly an Absolut drinker, so susceptible was I to slick and quirky advertising campaigns. In college I drank from the rail, student loans maxed out and my work-study employment barely employment at all. In law school I tried a bit of everything, found that I disliked Tanqueray, that Smirnoff left me with headaches, that Belvedere was overrated. Now I drink Skyy at home, order Stoli and tonics, and positively worship the perfect Grey Goose martinis.

  1. I've always been an Absolut martini dude, but will now consider worshiping at the alter of your Skyy god out of curiosity. After all, I'd be a fool to discount the opinion of a professional.

  2. I'd be a lot more productive at work if they'd let us drink vodka.

sir - if i wanted my martini to taste like anything, i'd make it with gin.

  5. I'll admit to being a Smirnoff fellow, but that's simply because it tends to be cheaper. And I am a poor man.
